Volunteers Needed!

Can you help? We are looking for volunteers to make the Imagine Gala happen. Please find below a list of planning committees as well as jobs the night of the event. Please contact Hilary or Sarah at mcbrideelementary@gmail.com for more information and if you can help.

Ticket Sales 

  • Help to share information, promote the event and encourage ticket sales.

 Logistics Planning 

  • Help develop a planning schedule and event night schedule.
  • Work with other committees to determine how many volunteers are needed. Develop a volunteer schedule.
  • Help recruit volunteers.

 Rentals and Décor

  • Work with other committees to determine rental needs.
  • Help determine decor and take a lead on room set up
  • Work with Logistics to determine volunteer needs. 

 Food 

  • Confirm catering and liaise with caterers
  • Work with the Rentals and Decor committee to confirm needs
  • Work with Logistics to determine volunteer needs. 

 Alcohol and Servers

This Committee could be combined with the Food Committee.

  • Confirm product needs and source items.
  • Confirm service plan.
  • Work with Logistics to determine volunteer needs. 

Evening Of Opportunities

  • Set Up
  • MC
  • Photographer
  • Servers (must have Serving it Right)
  • Clean Up
  • More….I am sure we are forgetting something.

Reminder! January PAC Meeting tomorrow.

Please join tomorrow, Wednesday January 8 at 6:00pm, for our January 2020 PAC meeting. This is your opportunity to learn more about PAC initiatives and school activities including the Principal’s update, Imagine Gala fundraising and Capital Campaign updates, the Summer Carnival and more.

Meetings are held in the school library and childcare is provided.

We encourage you to review the January Agenda and November Minutes in advance of the meeting. In an effort to be more environmentally responsible, we will not print copies of the minutes.
