Looking for a relaxed way to connect with other parents? Join us for our Coffee Morning Mingle! It’s a super laid-back, friendly hangout where you can chat, make new friends, ask questions about the school, and meet some staff who may drop by. No agenda—just a great chance to connect!
We’ll be gathering under the gazebo at the front of the school, rain or shine, with your favourite coffee from JJ Bean. Feel free to drop some loose change in the donation jar for your coffee. 100% of the donations will go directly to our school and kids.
Our first Coffee Morning Mingle is possible thanks to our sponsor, Clementine Natural Health, a boutique health clinic providing holistic healthcare to families throughout British Columbia. This exciting event is all about having fun on the dance floor while supporting essential school programs and initiatives. With a live DJ, fun challenges, and a vibrant atmosphere, it’s a night you won’t want to miss!

Primary Students (K-Grade 3): 6:00 PM – 6:50 PM
Intermediate Students (Grades 4-7): 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: McBride School Gymnasium
Fundraising Goal: $5,000
This event is a great way to celebrate school spirit, get active, and build community. Here’s what you need to know to prepare for the big night!
What’s in Store:
Live DJ & Themed Music: We’re excited to welcome DJ Rachel Rock’N’Beau to keep the beats flowing all night long. Students of all ages will love dancing to a variety of tunes, from pop hits to dance anthems.
Glow Bar & Treats: Visit our Glow Bar to pick up glowing goodies, or grab a sweet treat to enjoy at home after the event.
Dance Challenges & Prizes: Compete for cool prizes in our dance challenges! The top 5 fundraisers from each student group will win fantastic rewards, so don’t miss the chance to show off your moves!
Family Photos by Edge Imaging: Don’t forget to sign up for a professional family photo session with Edge Imaging. Book your spot HERE!
How It Works:
The Dance-A-Thon is easy to participate in, and every step helps raise funds for our school.
Collect Pledges: Students will receive a pledge form to gather sponsorships from family, friends, and local businesses. Every contribution counts!
Dance-A-Thon Event: On March 13, students will dance to live music, participate in challenges, and enjoy a night full of excitement and fun.
Final Donation Collection: All pledges must be turned in by March 7, 2025 to be eligible for prizes. Be sure to submit your donations on time!
