Every year the McBride PAC raises funds to pay for sports equipment, classroom supplies, camp, dance classes, STEM programming, and to support our amazing music program.  Also launched this year is a capital campaign to improve our play and outdoor spaces.

This year we’ve partnered up with Western Direct (Dessertco) and expanded our annual Pie and Cookie fundraiser to include Pizza and Bread!  Support our school while satisfying your sweet tooth and stocking up for entertaining.  All products are frozen and are “ready to bake”.  

The Cookie Dough is perfect for Holiday time celebrations and makes a great idea for all your get-togethers, parties and especially play dates for the kids…buy an extra tray to take to the grandparent’s.

Dessertco’s Pies are hand pressed with fruit fillings – their best -selling pie last season was Apple Caramel 

Certified Gluten free options available!  Cookies – Pies – Dessert Bars. PLEASE NOTE- THE GLUTEN FREE COOKIES COME IN A 50 QUANTITY PACK (order forms that went home have the wrong quantity) 

Pizzas & Breads are a great addition to this year’s sale – great quick dinner or snack!  Cheesy Bread Sticks are great as is or turn into a cool sandwich for kids lunches.

We hope each family could try to sell 4 items each. If each family sold 4 items and we have 360 students we could earn over $4000.00 in profit! 

EVERY CHILD THAT SELLS MORE THAN 4 ITEMS WILL RECEIVE A TICKET FOR A DOUGHNUT on December 5^th!

This is a quick one – the official completion date is Thursday, November 28^th, 2019.

The pick up date is Thursday December 12^th, 2019, between 1pm – 3pm.  Please note – We do not have freezer space to hold product past 3pm.

With society heading in a direction of being constantly connected to technology, what do we need to know as parents to protect our children and teach them responsible and appropriate use of technology? The parameters of rules and expectations that you put in place at home will undoubtedly guide their behaviour in the years to come. Please join us for an informative presentation that will cover the following topics and more!

• Social Media Update – The most current apps & trends in their social media lives
• Pick Your Battles! – You will have to balance the yin with the yang, promote independence whilst taking a strong stance on certain subjects
• Current Research – Brain development & technology, violent video games
• Digital Footprint and Reputation – With their future approaching, recruiters and employers are taking note – What will they find?
