REMINDER!

Our Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co. (Main Street) pizza fundraiser takes place tomorrow – Tuesday, December 3rd. McBride Elementary will be awarded 10% from the evening’s sales between 4 and 9pm for both eat in and takeout. It is a great way to treat yourself and give back to the school.  

As we are a big school, Rocky Mountain Flatbread Co has asked McBride families to make reservations if you plan to eat in. Please call 604-566-9779. 

The McBride PAC is pleased to once again sponsor the Red Cross StaySafe! and Babysitting courses for students in Grades 4, 5, 6 and 7. The PAC will contribute $20 per student registration. Parents will be responsible for the remaining $40 plus GST. Courses will take place at the school on the January 20th Pro-D day . Do you want to feel confident knowing your child is responsible on their own and has the skills to deal safely with an emergency situation? Topics covered include first aid with lessons tough using active role-play. This is a fun and interactive session.

Red Cross Babysitting Course

So you want to be a babysitter? Or, your parents want you to take this course so they feel confident leaving you at home alone? Babysitting with First Aid Hero emphasizes learning through real life scenarios. information covered includes: Exploring the business of babysitting, creating safe environments, safely caring for ages 0-12, and first aid skills.
